IceCodeBeer was my passion project to create a web-based system for bars to manage quickly changing craft beer menus. IceCodeBeer was composed of two main roles: bar owner and customer(drinker) . ICB enabled bar owners to easily manage beer menus via their smartphone. As bar owners would TAP or KICK beers via the IceCodeBeer website, the system would automatically update the bar website, print menus, and HD TVs around the venue that display available beers. Each print menu included a QR code that customers could scan to view an interactive version of the venues beer menu The entire system was built inhouse: backend, frontend, UX/UI, data import, Auth0 - Identity Access Mgmt.
Allen Alexander is a Spanish language voice talent. Best described as the “In A World…” guy for most major Hollywood Movie trailers in Espanol. Turn up your speakers and visit the site - you won't regret it. Most recently his work has crossed over to English commercials as well. Allen is the voice of Dos Equis in all the national ads in English and Spanish. Allen needed a site that could showcast his top work, allowing agencies to easily view his work and hear his voice. I work with Allen on a regular basis to help curate his top work in Movies, Television, and Radio.
GC Endurance is a health and fitness site created for Certified USA Triathlon coach Gustavo Caicedo. The site acts as a portal for his clients to access other on-demand services, as well as keep up on sport and triathlon news. As a personal trainer Gustavo needed a site that could engage potential clients as well as act as an aggregator for his many social media platforms.
Las Vegas based Fire Shield needed a website that could detail their firestop technologies for both the construction industry as well as architects. The top requirement was to have a site provide easy access to firestop specifications, architectural specifications, UL Ratings, and installation instructions. In addition to product details and diagrams the site includes other industry resources such as Material Safety Data Sheets, and adjacent 3M firestop products.
Based in Western New York, Frontrunner Network Systems provides a broad base of telecommunications, security, and network services. Extending products and services through Education, Manufacturing, Government, and Healthcare and offering notable products from the likes of Mitel, Aruba, Cisco, Genetec and PaloAlto, Frontrunner grew a business extending from Boston to Chicago. To compete, FNS required an online presence with effective SEO and a frictionless mechanism to generate qualified leads.* In early 2020, as a result of industry changes, Frontline Network Systems ceased operations.
Located in Times Square New York Gleason’s Tavern is a favorite spot for theater goers and garnered [rave reviews] upon opening. The purveyor requested a mobile first approach with top level Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Having worked with the same owner on two other locations and websites, *Punch Restaurant and *Wined Up Wine bar, we tied all three venues into a single admin platform. This allowed the owner to update hours, specials, and menus through a single secure page. In addition to a single page web design approach, I also did the food photography and designed the Gleason’s Tavern logo.* As a result of COVID these restaurants have temporarily or permanently closed. Saint Anne’s Church and Historic Old Saint Anne’s Church is located in Middletown, Delaware. Established 1704-1705 by a missionary society of the Church of England in what was then known as Appoquinimy (present day Middletown and Odessa) and named in honor of Queen Anne, English monarch at the time of the parish's founding. Church leadership asked for a website that could serve as a resource to current parishioners, and be used to reach out to prospective members. Since March 2020 and the global pandemic, Saint Anne’s has broadened its digital outreach and provides, services, and gatherings online through the site. Weekly broadcasts through the website and social media have reached 4 countries and 32 states.
Kent Blair, an assets manager in the technology, media and telecom sub-sectors or the stock market, needed an online presence rich with links to past performing portfolios and content to espouse his deep knowledge of market mechanics. The goal of this site was to produce a portfolio site for Mr. Blair to move into a executive position in a new company.
